Front Desk Associate

Be the Super Hero of Hospitality. As a Front Desk Associate besides taking Reservations and putting heads on beds, you troubleshoot whatever concerns our Inn guests and Health Club Members have. With 48 guest rooms and a popular fitness center, you’ll be engaged and busy year round.

Because our Health Club is also open to the Public, you check in and meet so many members during the week. From fellow workers to the rich and famous, Vineyard paths lead to Mansion House. Computer comfort, telephone and concierge skills, guest triage, and of course, getting along with your fellow Associates are important parts of this position

We’re open YEAR ROUND, the Island, and the Inn’s occupancy, slows down in the fall and winter and 'the season' kicks into gear in mid-May and continues thru mid-October.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality (1-2+ years) and be comfortable with computer systems and sales. The ability to multitask is a must. Other than online reservations and third-party booking sites, all phone reservations are made in-house with our Front Desk Associates.

Our Front Desk Associates work as a team to assist all areas of operations - including helping inspect rooms, report maintenance issues, and troubleshoot problems as they arise.

In addition to our 48 guest rooms, we also operate one of the Island's largest Health Clubs, complete with group fitness classes, cardio machines, circuit equipment, free weights, pool, sauna, hot tub and cycle room and weights. Our Desk Associates are responsible for membership sales, checking members and guests into the health club and other related tasks.
