Role Overview

The Talent Development Specialist is a key member of the Talent Development team, responsible for supporting onboarding and talent development initiatives across all clubs. This role partners closely with club leaders, District Managers, and support teams to ensure a consistent onboarding experience, strong succession planning, and operational support for internal talent assessment and growth.

Additionally, this role supports the coordination of internal meetings and events at the Northeast and PNW Support Centers, ensuring smooth logistics for leadership meetings, workshops, and training sessions. This position is based in the New England market.

Key Responsibilities Onboarding Experience & New Hire Support
  • Ensure all new hires receive a smooth, consistent onboarding experience from day one.
  • Maintain and update onboarding materials, checklists, and resources.
  • Host weekly new hire onboarding welcome meeting
  • Support club leaders through onboarding execution and troubleshooting.
  • Track onboarding completion and follow up on outstanding steps.
  • Provide onboarding insights and metrics to leadership for continuous improvement.
Success Measures:
  • Onboarding Completion Rate
  • 90-Day New Hire Retention
  • Manager Satisfaction with Onboarding
  • Team Member Satisfaction with onboarding
Leadership Development Program Support
  • Coordinate leadership training sessions, workshops, and development initiatives for club managers.
  • Track program participation, completion, and effectiveness.
  • Assist in following up with managers to ensure skill development and implementation of learnings in the field.
  • Partner with Sr. Manager of Operations & People Development to support program rollout and alignment with operational goals.
Success Measures:
  • Leadership Program Completion Rate
  • Training Participation & Engagement
  • Post-Training Skill Implementation in Clubs
Talent Development & Succession Planning
  • Ensure all field personnel annual performance reviews are completed thoroughly
  • Support identification of high-potential talent across clubs.
  • Assist leaders in documenting development plans and readiness.
  • Track internal promotions, milestones, and leadership pipelines.
  • Help standardize processes to ensure consistency across all clubs.
Success Measures:
  • Internal Promotion Rate
  • Leadership Development Participation
  • Succession Plan Completion Rate
Data, Reporting & Operational Insights
  • Collect, consolidate, and report on onboarding, talent, and leadership program metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to Sr. Manager and club leadership based on field data.
  • Monitor trends in engagement, retention, and performance to support continuous improvement.
Success Measures:
  • Accuracy and Timeliness of Reports

Meeting & Event Coordination
  • Plan and coordinate in-person and virtual meetings, training sessions and workshops.
  • Manage logistics, materials, scheduling, and catering for leadership and development sessions.
  • Support cross-functional meetings to align talent initiatives with operational goals.
  • Support Talent Acquisition with onsite hiring days and job fairs
