Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Talent Development and Onboarding Manager to lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of employee training and onboarding programs. This role will partner closely with leaders across the organization to build scalable training materials, ensure a consistent and effective onboarding experience, and support recruiting efforts as the company grows.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and experienced in building training programs from the ground up—not just facilitating them. This role plays a critical part in employee success, engagement, and long-term retention.
Key Responsibilities Training & Development- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing employees
- Partner cross-functionally with department leaders to document workflows, processes, and best practices
- Create and update training materials, manuals, SOPs, and role-specific learning paths
- Ensure training programs remain current as systems, processes, and roles evolve
- Track training effectiveness and recommend improvements as needed
- Own and continuously improve the new-hire onboarding experience
- Coordinate onboarding schedules, materials, and checklists across departments
- Serve as a key point of contact for new employees during their first weeks and months
- Ensure new hires are properly equipped, trained, and integrated into the organization
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiting teams to support hiring initiatives
- Assist with interview coordination, candidate experience, and onboarding transition from recruiting to employment
- Help standardize hiring and onboarding processes as the organization scales
- 5+ years of experience in talent development, training, onboarding, HR operations, or a related role
- Proven experience creating training programs, documentation, and onboarding materials from scratch
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally with managers and teams at all levels
- Experience supporting or partnering with recruiting and hiring teams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
