Senior Human Resources Generalist
Location:
Dedham Area
Compensation: $46.00-$50.00 per hour
Type:
Contract 3 months.
The Senior HR Generalist will lead day-to-day HR operations for a growing high‑tech manufacturing company with 60+ employees. This hands‑on role partners closely with leadership and is responsible for payroll, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and improving HR processes and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities- Serve as the primary owner of ADP, including processing payroll for 60+ employees, maintaining data integrity, and improving HR workflows through streamlined processes and SOPs.
- Manage HR operations in compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other applicable regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs and manage relationships with the benefits broker, 401(k) providers, and other third‑party vendors.
- Support Workers’ Compensation administration, reporting, and related employee matters in a manufacturing environment where these issues are especially relevant.
- Partner with leadership on hiring, onboarding, retention, employee engagement, and performance support.
- Act as a trusted resource to employees and managers on HR policies, compensation, benefits, and employee relations matters.
- Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen the HR function and support company growth.
- 5+ years of HR experience, including payroll and benefits administration.
- Manufacturing background required.
- Strong ADP experience required; ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- Experience processing payroll for 60+ employees.
- Hands‑on experience with Workers’ Compensation, benefits brokers, and 401(k) administration required.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and HR best practices.
- Excellent judgment, communication, organization, and follow-through.
