We’re looking for a Vice President of Recruiting to build the next phase of our recruiting organization. We hire a mix of technical and manufacturing roles, from software and controls engineers to machinists, operators, and manufacturing leaders. As we continue to scale, recruiting becomes one of the biggest factors in how fast we can execute. This is a hands‑on leadership role.
You’ll partner closely with our executive team to understand where the business is going, translate it into hiring plans, and build a recruiting organization to support it.
- Develop recruiting strategies that work for both high-volume manufacturing hiring and specialized technical hiring to support our company growth as we expand into new products and industries.
- Partner with leadership to understand where the business is headed and translate that into hiring plans.
- Build and lead a recruiting organization that can scale with the business, develop the team, and create systems that allow us to hire quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Partner closely with manufacturing and operations leaders to support production ramps, new programs, and staffing needs across multiple sites.
- Build a best-in-class sourcing function that identifies where the right talent is and develops ways to reach them; reduce reliance on external staffing agencies by building strong internal pipelines and sourcing capability.
- Raise the quality and consistency of hiring by building structured interview processes, improving interviewer capability, and helping leaders make better hiring decisions.
- Build long‑term talent pipelines through internships, apprenticeships, workforce development programs, and partnerships with schools, training programs and local organizations.
- Become an expert in our business, products, technology, and growth strategy so you can confidently tell our story, attract exceptional candidates, and advise leaders on talent strategy.
- Build the recruiting infrastructure, including systems, reporting, and recruiting operations, that gives leaders clear visibility into hiring progress, hiring risks, and opportunities to improve.
- Proven ability to build and scale recruiting organizations in high‑growth environments; experience scaling from roughly 300 to 1,000+ employees strongly preferred.
- Background in industrial technology, manufacturing, hardware, aerospace and defense, medical, or similar environments.
- Background leading recruiting across both high‑volume hourly manufacturing or operations hiring and technical hiring.
- Strong executive presence and experience partnering directly with C‑level leadership.
