Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent (4 years experience).
- 5-7 years related System/Network Administration experience.
- 2+ years SAP experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop/server OS, Microsoft Exchange Server, and RHEL administration/hardware.
- Working knowledge of Cisco networking/switching and virtualization technologies.
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, data backup, and COMSEC integration.
- Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF), Common Criteria, and System Security Policy for assessments/authorization.
- Current relevant experience with PL2 network environments/systems.
- Familiarity with DoD policy for system/network administration.
- Organize, install, and support computer systems including LANs, WANs, intranets, and data communications.
- Architect, design, and analyze network models; participate in hardware/software upgrade decisions.
- Provide technical support to users and resolve problems.
- Support Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities for DoD agencies.
- Perform self-sustaining work with minimal oversight.
- Lead IT ops team on network management, implementing vetted capabilities for JSIG/RMF Authority to Operate.
- Maintain Continuous Monitoring tools/processes.
- Manage COTS/GOTS products for security/operations metrics collection, display, and remediation.
- Assist in security assessments of servers/network devices/appliances.
- Create O&M checklists, TTPs, and SOPs for services.
- Manage SIEM tools, create event alarms/rules/reports.
- Execute cybersecurity operations for network management/maintenance.
- Monitor/analyze cybersecurity tools for incidents/residual risk.
- Analyze technical risk of emerging cybersecurity tools/processes.
- Support security incident response team.
- Assist ISSM/ISSO/ISSE with techniques improving CIA for classified networks/systems.
- Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, MS Hyper‑V/VMware/ESXi/Xen Hypervisors.
- Enterprise networking/firewalls/IDS/IPS, forensic analysis/vulnerability assessment, Group Policy, scripting.
- BMC Footprints, WSUS, Lumension, Bitlocker, SQL Server 2012, Tomcat, IIS, Windows Server 2012R2/2016, Win 10, Red Hat 6.5.
- Microsoft Office toolkits, SIEMs, Log Rhythm, ACAS/Nessus/SCAP, mandatory access controls (SELinux, Pit Bull, App Armor, Sentris).
- Video teleconferencing/VOIP, Oracle/MS SQL database security, Apache/IIS web server security.
- Current TS/SCI eligibility.
- Meet DoD 8570.01‑M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III requirements within 6 months of hire (e.g., CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP Associate, GCED, GCIH, CCSP).
- English native or bilingual proficiency.
