Associate Attorney

Job OverviewA law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Haverhill, MA. This full-time position involves working remotely with the firm's headquarters in New York City. The role offers a dynamic environment with exposure to various consumer protection legal issues, including transactional and civil litigation matters.

• Maintain and supervise a diverse caseload of clients in Massachusetts.
• Communicate with clients regarding their legal matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and review agreements.
• Engage with opposing parties to resolve or settle claims.
• Conduct legal research on contract law and consumer law issues.
• Travel for court appearances as required.

• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Superior organizational and time-management skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in legal research;
  Lexis Nexis experience is a plus.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
