Freight Manager

We 27re a growing multi-facility operation consolidating all freight and transportation responsibilities under a single owner for the first time. Freight activity is currently fragmented across operations, sales, and finance, and we7re looking for a hands-on freight operator who can bring consistency, cost control, and real accountability across the organization.

Youll own all inbound and outbound freight across four facilities rom carrier management to rate negotiation to invoice accuracy. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in the details and wants clear ownership of a critical operational function.

This role is onsite in Avon, MA with regular coordination remotely across West Bridgewater, Georgia, and Alabama facilities.

• 370 years of experience in freight, logistics, shipping, or transportation
• Hands-on experience running a freight desk (LTL, FTL, parcel)
• Strong carrier management and rate negotiation skills
• Deep familiarity with freight documentation, BOL accuracy, and shipment tracking
• Experience supporting multi-facility operations
• Ability to audit invoices, resolve discrepancies, and improve cost control
• Comfort partnering with warehouse teams without directly managing them
• A process-improvement mindset you see inefficiencies and fix them
• ERP experience helpful (Net Suite preferred but not required)
