Location: Harvard

Compensation Pay Range: $24.60 - $27.75. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums paid in amounts per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Responsibilities
  • Unload various types of merchandise from Ozark route trucks and place them in designated staging areas.
  • Match the driver’s manifest to the unloaded merchandise to verify accuracy.
  • Assist in wrapping, loading, and shipping of outbound merchandise.
  • Scan and inspect merchandise from a store’s return, separate all return merchandise to appropriate staging areas, and process exceptions correctly.
  • Correctly sort and neatly stack all checked‑in rebuilt core and rebuilt warranty into designated areas.
  • Follow proper staging, cut‑offs, auditing, and product‑preparation procedures for shipping.
  • Sort and prepare new merchandise for shipment to proper zones and maintain inventory and order boxes for specific lines.
  • Add reboxed parts to inventory following cut‑off procedures.
  • Maintain and sort warranty merchandise into vendor bins; coordinate all paperwork and product with vendor representatives.
  • Move merchandise and paperwork to the RGS clerk in a timely manner.
  • Dispose of Haz Mat chemicals and oil per company policy.
  • Process all recall, changeover, and stocklift merchandise; handle all non‑stocks from main and remote DCs and all unsaleable items.
  • Follow procedures for tag shelves where applicable.
  • Work with O’Reilly sales regarding all demo, used, and loaner equipment, including credits, billing, and RGS for shipping.
  • Test warranty batteries, process appropriate paperwork, and recondition batteries as needed.
  • Perform monthly rotations on DC stock and complete related paperwork; maintain monthly battery reports.
  • Prepare and/or match paperwork needed for RGS merchandise; call truck lines and prepare shipment.
  • Ensure all RGS merchandise is properly packed, weighed, loaded, and shipped to vendors, then turn in all paperwork for correct disposition.
  • Maintain clean work areas and uphold safety standards, identifying unsafe practices and situations.
  • Assist as trainer when designated, owning the DC target training program and ensuring training is conducted on schedule with complete documentation.
  • Explain specific job duties and procedural changes to new and existing team members.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills / Education / Experience
  • Required:

    Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Desired:
    High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Working knowledge of the automotive warehouse and/or store industry.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
