Assistant Buyer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Buyer to support procurement activities for a Long-term Contract position in North Billerica, Massachusetts. This role focuses on acquiring goods and services efficiently while working within a healthcare-related environment that uses specialized information systems. The ideal candidate will help maintain smooth purchasing operations, coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors, and ensure records are handled accurately across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Procurement Team and vendors to ensure materials are available to support project timelines.
• Track and expedite purchase orders to meet project deadlines.
• Process return authorizations and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Support purchasing documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist with supplier payment issues and provide current material pricing for estimates and proposals.
• Manage material orders for construction and service projects, selecting vendors that can meet delivery requirements.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support department and company objectives.
