Location: In office, Plymouth
Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM, Monday – Thursday

• Perform laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures, test requirements, and the ISO 17025 standard.
• Perform scheduled instrument verification checks and periodic facility maintenance.
• Set up and operate complex laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Identify and report nonconformities and abnormal testing conditions.
• Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are upheld at all times.
• Maintain a working knowledge of EH&S safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
• Maintain effective communication with laboratory and project teams.
• Obtain forklift training/license, scissor lift training/license, or refrigerant handling certifications.
• Perform test unit setup according to lab procedures and test request requirements.
• Create records of testing activities and document them according to laboratory procedures.
• Improve laboratory activities on a continuous basis.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair test units and facilities.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of Engineering Technician experience.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Forklift training/certification.
• Formal HVAC training or degree.
• Commercial HVAC experience in a field technician role.

The typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $25.73 – $41.21 (+10% 2nd‑shift differential) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
