NMS in Buckland, AK is looking to hire a full-time, part-time & on-call School Janitor - Cleaner. The custodial position offers a competitive wage starting at $19.50/hr DOE and part‑time/full‑time employees are eligible for Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB).

• A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SCHOOL JANITOR – CLEANER
• Arrive for each custodial shift ready to clean efficiently and service‑oriented.
• Perform dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, sanitizing, restocking, and other janitorial tasks.
• Remove trash and transport it to the appropriate areas.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs when needed.
• End each shift with pride in a clean, shining school.

• At least 6 months of experience demonstrating knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and callouts.
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a 3‑year driving record acceptable to the company’s insurance carrier.
