At Bay Coast Bank, we’re looking for an Assistant Branch Manager I who brings leadership, energy, and a strong customer focus to our branch team.

What You’ll Do Lead & Inspire- Supervise and coach branch staff, providing ongoing training and development
- Assist with performance management, goal setting, and staff motivation
- Support staffing schedules, timekeeping, and daily team operations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Provide financial solutions tailored to customer needs
- Support branch goals through referrals, relationship development, and retention
- Assist with business development efforts, including outreach and community involvement
- Identify opportunities to expand customer relationships across bank services
- Oversee daily branch operations in the absence of the Branch Manager
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain security, cash controls, and operational accuracy
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance customer experience
- Participate in community events and initiatives to grow the Bank’s presence
- Promote a strong, positive, and customer-focused team culture
- Previous banking experience with demonstrated leadership or supervisory skills
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and operations
- Loan origination experience and NMLS registration preferred
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and reliability
Bilingual skills in Portuguese and/or Spanish are a plus, but not required
