Associate Director, Campus Program Lead
Location: Devens, MA, US
About the RoleThe Associate Director, Campus Program Lead provides leadership to campus projects, programs and initiatives, coordinating support from multi‑functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of complex topics and changes across the campus.
Responsibilities- Lead matrix teams or act as a single contributor on large, complex change initiatives.
- Develop and communicate strategic plans and communication plans for program implementation.
- Apply project management expertise across the portfolio, managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Identify technical solutions in partnership with Site Leadership Teams aligned with the Campus / Site Business Strategy.
- Drive execution of implementation plans and ensure successful delivery through effective governance and prioritization.
- Align projects with Campus Goals and Objectives; make decisions that solve highly complex problems.
- Collaborate with all functions and manage communication, escalation and issue resolution across organizational and functional boundaries.
- Present strategy, presentations and communication plans for senior executives.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality and operational excellence across campus teams.
- Directly manage or influence diverse teams; drive continuous improvement post go‑live.
- Strong competence in portfolio/program/project management tools and systems (e.g., iPlan/One Plan, Tableau).
- Experience leading and managing diverse teams; prior direct team management is a plus.
- Excellent influencing skills and ability to build strong working relationships at all levels and cultures.
- Operational Excellence certification (LSS Yellow Belt / Green Belt) desirable.
- Ability to problem solve, build plans and manage resources to meet priorities and schedules.
- Effective communication skills across verbal, written and various media.
- B.A. or B.S. in a related discipline (Master’s degree a plus).
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMI) required.
- Agile / Scrum Methodologies Certifications highly desired.
- A minimum of 10 years experience, preferably in a biopharma manufacturing complex, with a solid history of accomplishments.
The starting compensation range for this role is $179,150 - $217,083 (Devens, MA, US). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility. Final individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
