NEADS Service Dogs is looking for a Director of Development to lead the next chapter of our fundraising growth.
This is more than a development position. It’s an opportunity to build relationships, grow revenue, lead a team, and directly expand the number of people whose lives can be transformed by a Service Dog.
Located in Princeton, MA, NEADS is a nationally recognized nonprofit that trains and provides Service Dogs for people with disabilities, veterans with PTSD, children with autism, and professionals in hospitals, courthouses, and educational settings.
What you'll lead:- A four-person development team
- Individual, major gift, foundation & corporate fundraising
- A growing donor pipeline and major gift strategy
- Corporate partnerships and sponsor ships
- 1–2 annual fundraising events
- Salesforce, development analytics & pipeline management
- Board and CEO engagement in fundraising
- Expansion of NEADS' philanthropic relationships throughout Boston, Worcester & New England
- Has 5+ years of progressive fundraising leadership experience
- Has a proven record of closing major gifts and achieving fundraising goals
- Knows the Massachusetts/New England philanthropic landscape
- Is an exceptional relationship builder and storyteller
- Leads with emotional intelligence and develops high-performing teams
- Uses data and Salesforce to drive fundraising decisions
- Is entrepreneurial, strategic, and willing to try something new
- Is genuinely passionate about the mission of NEADS and the human-canine bond
Starting salary: $125,000
