Taunton DC - Returns - Baler Operator

Do you like staying busy all day and working independently? Jordan's Furniture seeks a team player to work in our busy QC and Returns departments. The hours of this position are:
Tuesday - Saturday; 11:30 am - 8:00 pm.

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour.

• Transfers trash and recyclable material to the compactor/baler area and maintains a clean work area.
• Separates recyclable material from trash.
• Operates all machinery used to handle trash or recycled material.
• Loads/unloads Junk bedding, Shuttle, Receiving and Recycling trailers.
• Handles, repackages and moves returned merchandise
• Sorts, transports, processes recycling material and disposes all trash generated from the department’s daily operations
• Assist with the overall cleanliness of the DC by ensuring floor is clear of recycling debris
• Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards

• 0-6 months of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment where you are on your feet for 8 hours per day

• Must be 18 years or age or older
• Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials up to 110 lbs.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening. Don't worry, you can do it!
