Accumet Engineering Inc. is an industry-leading advanced processing manufacturer specializing in new and legacy materials fabrication, precision laser services, and critical component assembly. We are seeking an experienced Technician Supervisor II to lead a team of technicians and oversee daily equipment operations. The Supervisor will maintain and troubleshoot high voltage equipment to support production, lead a preventative maintenance program, and keep accurate maintenance records, all while striving for zero downtime.

• Maintain, repair, and improve manufacturing laser equipment supporting production.
• Manage a team of technicians and oversee operations in a technical area.
• Provide routine maintenance within a preventative maintenance program.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues of manufacturing equipment.
• Read and understand electrical schematics, both analog and digital.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Review technicians' work and production data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic equipment.
• Work with power supplies and industrial controls.
• Perform optical alignment of high-powered CO2 lasers, rail alignments on Yags.
• Understand CNC programming and G codes at a basic level.
• Experience with motion control equipment, including X, Y, Z, and rotary drives (ball screw and direct drive).
• Estimate labor time for repairs and requisition parts as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of shop safety, lockout/tagout procedures, PPE, and laser safety.
• Perform maintenance on facility, processing, and QC equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, electrical schematics, and work instructions.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Understanding of laser components such as optics, vacuum pumps, high voltage power supplies, and current control circuitry.
• Knowledge of manufacturing computer applications.
• CAD experience is a plus.
• Ability to use DVOM, oscilloscopes, function generators, and watt meters.
• Good time management and multitasking skills.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Military service experience is a plus.

Occasionally stand and walk; lift/move up to 30 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Moderate noise levels expected.
