Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee the weld shop, machine shop, finishing/assembly, support, test and repair functions.
• Develop and implement strategies to keep manufacturing cells on plan for customer commitments.
• Lead and manage all resources of the manufacturing cells to achieve committed metrics.
• Provide regular performance feedback to employees, maximize production personnel capabilities, and implement procedures to improve efficiency.
• Define and execute strategies to meet mid‑term and long‑term production goals.
• Drive daily change by creating channels for feedback and leveraging company‑wide communication systems to involve employees as stakeholders.
• Maintain daily time and attendance updates in the system and address any violations.
• Manage vacation schedules to ensure key resources are available when needed.
• Lead solutions to improve staff capabilities and performance management.
• Maintain all health and safety standards within the manufacturing team.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

• Excellent knowledge of assembly and inspection techniques.
• Background in planning and SOP development.
• High‑energy, assertive personality comfortable handling multiple projects alongside normal duties.
• Proven ability to influence others to achieve required results.
• Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills, able to efficiently organize and complete daily activities.
• Good interpersonal skills; tactful, mature, flexible, and able to get along well with others.
• Establish credibility, be decisive, and align with organizational priorities.
• Results‑oriented with focus on project completions.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering technology, or a related field is highly preferred; significant work experience may substitute for educational requirements on a case‑by‑case basis.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or work‑center environment.

• United States citizenship.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance, if required.
