Overview
The incumbent will perform final inspections and functional testing of sub-assemblies and completed product systems to ensure compliance with all specifications, requirements, and quality standards prior to customer shipment.
Responsibilities- Collaborates with manufacturing operations to ensure quality products are delivered on schedule.
- Perform all required inspections and tests as outlined in the manufacturing production schedule.
- Inspects and tests mechanical and hydraulic systems using defined procedures, test setups, and equipment—including both basic and advanced testing of complex actuator configurations.
- Verifies mechanical construction against product specifications, including assembly drawings, bill of materials, and product configuration sheets.
- Performs basic troubleshooting on systems that do not meet specifications.
- Completes and maintains detailed testing reports and inspection documentation.
- Documents nonconformances according to ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) requirements using the Syteline Business System.
- Identifies and implements improvements to inspection processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
- Supports incoming inspections and final shipping inspections as needed.
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate degree in a related field or technical school certification highly preferred.
- ASQ Certified Inspector certification is a plus.
- Inspection experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment greatly preferred.
- Direct experience with hydraulic systems preferred.
- Proficient in the use of test equipment such as digital multimeters (DMM), signal generators, data loggers, and oscilloscopes.
- Strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams, specification sheets, and drawings.
- Skilled in the use of precision measurement tools including calipers and micrometers.
- Proficient with computers for reviewing data, generating labels, and maintaining records.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to stand up to 95% of the time and lift up to 50 lbs.

Hourly range: $22.53 - $26.50 depending on experience
