Electrical Technician | Southbridge, MA | $35-$40/hour
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting equipment, maintaining electrical systems, and helping improve uptime, reliability, and overall production performance. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong PLC and industrial maintenance experience who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • 3+ years of experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs, including ladder and control logic
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose electrical issues and identify root causes
  • Experience creating, updating, and maintaining electrical schematics and related documentation
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, documentation, and equipment care practices
  • Experience managing electrical component inventory and spare parts
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment and control systems
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motors, drives, relays, and control components
  • Understanding of electrical safety standards, safe work practices, and applicable regulatory requirements
What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and control system issues on manufacturing equipment to reduce downtime and keep production running
  • Support the installation, startup, validation, and commissioning of new equipment and automation systems
  • Diagnose and resolve issues involving PLCs, HMIs, electrical panels, motors, drives, sensors, breakers, and other control components
  • Read, interpret, create, and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Perform and document preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and extend service life
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to solve technical issues and improve processes
  • Manage inventory of electrical components, spare parts, and critical supplies to support maintenance needs
  • Follow safety standards and regulatory requirements, including LOTO, arc flash protocols, and applicable OSHA guidelines
  • Support electrical systems in cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environments while maintaining contamination control standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on uptime, yield, and equipment performance
  • Provide flexible support as needed, including off-shift or on-call coverage, to maintain production continuity
