Job Description

Avantor is seeking a Cleanroom Assembly Technician to support our Fluid Handling team in the Devens, MA office. The role involves building a wide range of single‑use assemblies for the medical industry, manufacturing, and measuring equipment.

• Build, clean, and package single‑use assemblies according to Engineering Process Records (EPR), drawings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and report near‑miss or first aid events.
• Follow cleanroom protocols and cGMPs to maintain an ISO Class7 environment.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement processes and follow change control procedures.
• Escalate potential process or product deviations to prevent scrap, rework, and customer returns.
• Maintain daily organization (6S) and cleanliness of work area and common areas.
• Assist with inventory accuracy by returning unused parts and components to stock with part number and lot traceability.
• Work within ISO
  9001:2015 quality standards and company quality goals.
• Meet internal manufacturing schedules for on‑time delivery.
• Complete and sign off EPRs for each operation performed.
• Complete assemblies within the allotted time specified on the work order and strive for a “build it right the first time” mentality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school graduation or equivalent (GED).
• 0–2 years of production experience in a cleanroom environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Preferred: experience working in a cleanroom environment, interpreting engineering drawings, knowledge of Lean manufacturing.

The expected pre‑tax pay range for this position is $39,500.00 – $63,250.00. Actual pay may vary based on experience and location.
