Job Description - Laboratory Automation Engineer
A leading team of experts in the life sciences industry is seeking a Laboratory Automation Engineer to support the configuration and validation of complex laboratory automation systems. These systems include robotic arms, liquid handlers, and automated storage platforms. This position plays a critical role in software setup, system documentation, and qualification support across GxP-compliant environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and verify laboratory automation systems such as Hamilton STAR liquid handlers, HRB robotic systems, and plate washers.
- Author and execute configuration specifications and system administration practices.
- Lead PC configuration, manage user access, and interface systems with IT infrastructure.
- Draft and support the execution of Data Integrity test scripts including audit trail verification, user access, and configuration testing.
- Collaborate with commissioning and validation teams to align FAT/SAT and IOQ/PQ activities.
- Support loop check execution and maintain version-controlled configuration baselines.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with automated laboratory systems (e.g., Hamilton STAR, Cellario, integrated robotic platforms).
- Proficiency in drafting DI specifications, configuration verification protocols, and traceability matrices.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS configuration in validated environments.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong team orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to make independent decisions and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation:
Estimated U.S. Salary Range:
$102,410 - $159,000 USD
