Experienced Level III Machinist

Full-time Regular Direct Manufacturing, Malden, MA, US

Salary: $37.00 - $45.00 hourly.

We’re looking for an experienced Machinist who has completed a CNC Machining Program. You will have the opportunity to work with an inspiring team of experienced Machinists and Engineers.

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines and related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed.
• Work with our Engineers and Programmers to make all edits and adjustments as required to produce parts to work order/blueprint specifications/sketches.
• Operate more than one machine in a cellular environment.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of feeds and speeds and of cutting tools and their application.
• Inspect work for all dimensional features as required.
• Produce quality and quantity of work in accordance with company requirements.
• Accurately complete paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc. according to company policy.
• Maintain area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, safe, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheets.
• Maintain coolant tanks and fill as necessary.
• Train, guide, and assist other employees as required.
• Observe all company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety, and security.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred.
• 7+ years as CNC machinist operator.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

• Understand and follow instructions in English.
• Understand and interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Understand G and M codes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to attend off‑site training and be willing to learn.

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using personal protective equipment.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
• Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to travel between locations or to suppliers up to 25% of time.
