About the OpportunityWe’re looking for an experienced Machinist who has completed a CNC Machining Program. You will have the opportunity to work with an inspiring team of experienced Machinists and Engineers.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines and related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed.
- Work with our Engineers and Programmers to make all edits and adjustments as required to produce parts to work order/blueprint specifications/sketches.
- Operate more than one machine in a cellular environment.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of feeds and speeds and of cutting tools and their application.
- Inspect work for all dimensional features as required.
- Produce quality and quantity of work in accordance with company requirements.
- Accurately complete paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc. according to company policy.
- Maintain area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, safe, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheets.
- Maintain coolant tanks and fill as necessary.
- Train, guide, and assist other employees as required.
- Observe all company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety, and security.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred.
- 7+ years as CNC machinist operator.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
- Understand and follow instructions in English.
- Understand and interpret blueprints and sketches.
- Understand G and M codes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to attend off‑site training and be willing to learn.
- Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using personal protective equipment.
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to travel between locations or to suppliers up to 25% of time.
