* ** North Attleboro, MA*
* ** Shift: 6am-2pm (Monday-Friday)*
* ** Pay Rate: $22-25/hr*
* ** What's a typical day as a Chemical Production Operator? You'll be:*
* + Loading and unloading materials, and moving them for further processing or shipment

+ Setting up, monitoring, and preparing materials for chemical processing, refinement, and finished product production

+ Initiating and monitoring chemical reactions and refinery manufacturing processes

+ Operating chemical distribution equipment, scrubbers, dust collectors, pumps, and gas tank changeouts

+ Completing documentation and refinery paperwork, including verification of weights and volumes

+ Assisting with periodic maintenance of equipment (cleanouts, calibrations, filter replacements, etc.)

+ Maintaining a clean and safe work area and following all safety and environmental regulations

+ Reporting to the Department Supervisor and performing other duties as directed

** This job might be an outstanding fit if you:*
* + Have a H.S. Diploma or equivalent (required)

+ Possess strong math and English skills, and attention to detail

+ Are able to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, bending, reaching, and pushing

+ Have at least one year of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment (willing to train the right candidate)

+ Are able to work with metallurgical refining and automated chemical processes, or are eager to learn

+ Demonstrate good mechanical aptitude and chemical handling abilities

+ Can operate manual and powered material handling equipment and power tools safely

+ Are comfortable wearing personal protective equipment in an industrial environment
