The Extrusion Operator operates and troubleshoots plant equipment, machines and lines. You will receive training to perform the daily activities associated with the specialty film production process. Starting pay: $29.24 + shift differential.

Major Responsibilities- Produce quality materials for customers
- Operate, maintain and shutdown production equipment (blender, resin dryer, 4.5 extruder, take-off tower, die, slitter, trim winder and film winder)
- Start up and shut down equipment including pre-start up safety interlock review
- Keep machine fed with resin mixture by accurately calculating formulation, adding, blending and drying the batch resin components
- Observe and adjust process parameters in ensure proper product specifications
- Record process and product information, test samples, complete order paperwork
- Make quality judgments about film produced
- Maintain equipment, including teardown and reassembly of the extruder screw and die

- High school diploma or GED
- Must be willing to work a 12 hour shift; positions are available on night shift (7pm-7am). Must be able to routinely lift and carry up to 50 lbs of weight, climb stairs, lift and pull 10 lbs of weight in the overhead position, work in ambient room temperature of 100 degrees, and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.
- Experience in the extrusion of films.
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
- Fork truck certification.
- Hoisting and rigging experience.
- Working knowledge of computers and SAP software
