Machine Operator III

Devens, MA 01434

Duration: 6+ Months

Pay Rate: $21.76/hrs. on W2

Shift: 1st Shift – 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking Machine Operator III candidates to join a leading corrugated packaging manufacturing facility in Devens, MA. The selected candidates will be trained to operate corrugator and converting machines, perform routine machine maintenance, inspect products for quality, and support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate corrugator and converting machines to produce corrugated packaging products.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and make machine adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready.
  • Assist with loading/unloading materials and operating additional equipment as needed.
  • Support and mentor new team members when required.
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. safely throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and understand basic English.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  • Ability to identify product defects and quality issues.
  • Experience working in high-speed, high-volume production environments.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays, when required.
Skills
  • Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience with packaging, corrugated, or production machinery.
