CoWorx is looking for a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician / Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator to join our team in the Attleboro, MA area and play a critical role in producing high-quality electronic assemblies that power today's technology. $25.00–$28.00 PER HOUR | FULL-TIME | 40+ HOURS PER WEEK & OUTSTANDING BENEFITS
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot SMT production equipment, including:
Screen Printers, Pick-and-Place Machines, Reflow Ovens, 3D AOI Inspection Systems, X-Ray Inspection Equipment
Perform solder paste printing and verify proper paste application.
Validate SMT programs during first-article and initial production runs.
Make process adjustments to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
Inspect assemblies for correct component values, placement, polarity, and orientation.
Conduct 3D AOI inspections and review inspection results.
Support the assembly and production of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), wire harnesses, and related products.
Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and preventive maintenance activities.
Follow IPC-A-610 workmanship standards and company quality procedures.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to continuously improve manufacturing performance.
Desired Background/
Skills:
3–5+ years of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) manufacturing experience.
Experience operating and troubleshooting SMT machinery and tooling.
Working knowledge of Screen Printers, Pick-and-Place equipment, Reflow Ovens, AOI systems, and related production equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read and follow manufacturing documentation and work instructions.
IPC-A-610 Certification (Required).
