SUMMARY
The Corrugator Manager provides frontline leadership for a single shift operating a state-of-the-art, high-speed corrugator, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while meeting daily operating objectives. This role is responsible for coordinating personnel, equipment, materials, and workflow to maximize productivity, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Corrugator Manager promotes a culture of accountability, employee development, and operational excellence while maintaining compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Strapper Operator
- Clamp Truck Operator
- 2 Slitter Scorer Operators
- 2 Corrugator Operators
- Corrugator Relief Operator
- 2 General Helpers
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
- 6+ years of corrugated manufacturing experience, including 2-4 years of leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of corrugator operations and high-speed manufacturing equipment.
- Experience leading safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Must have attention to detail and focused concentration.
- Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently.
- Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow.
- Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and use hands.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment, paper dust, varying temperatures, and elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection.
- Manufacturing environment supporting high-speed corrugator operations.
