Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Winding Operator to join our team in Hopedale, MA. The Winding Operator will be responsible for operating winding machines to produce high-quality labels for identification purposes. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor winding machines to produce labels according to specifications.
 Set up and adjust machines, ensuring proper tension, alignment, and other settings.
 Inspect labels for quality, ensuring they meet established standards and specifications.
 Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues, reporting major problems to maintenance.
 Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.
 Record production data, including quantities produced, machine settings, and downtime.
 Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
 Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
 Previous experience as a winding operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
 Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
 Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as work orders and machine manuals.
 Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
 Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
 Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
 Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
 Willingness to work overtime or flexible shifts as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 pounds].
 Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods.
