Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc, a leader in high-quality cable carriers and machine protection systems, seeks a Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations. You will lead a team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include planning resources, monitoring KPIs, coordinating with maintenance and engineering, and implementing lean practices.
Responsibilities- Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets
- Plan and prioritize workloads, staffing, and equipment utilization
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Implement and enforce safety and quality standards
- Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and sales to support customer needs
- Train, coach, and evaluate production team members
- Support lean manufacturing and 5S practices
- Ensure accurate reporting of production data and inventory
- Assist with budgeting, capacity planning, and process documentation
