Join the power movement as Component Cleaning & Prep Lead. We are seeking a hands‑on, safety‑focused leader to run component cleaning and preparation operations supporting manufacturing and assembly. This role leads a small team, authors and validates cleaning procedures, ensures contamination control, and enforces chemical safety and waste handling to maintain audit‑ready clean areas.

The Schedule

Full-time, on-site

What You'll Do
  • Lead a team of 2-3 cleaning technicians: assign daily tasks, manage throughput, and maintain flexible schedules to meet production demands
  • Act as onsite trainer on chemical safety, contamination control, and proper hardware handling techniques
  • Partner with Material and Inventory Coordinators to ensure batch control and ERP logging of material movements
  • Author SOPs for cleaning modalities (immersion/baths, ultrasonic, parts washers, manual wipe-downs) and assist in selection, commissioning, and validation of specialized cleaning equipment and filtration/ventilation systems
  • Research, define, and implement component-cleaning standards, validation methods, and workflow layouts based on industry best practices
  • Manage safe handling, storage, and disposal of cleaning solvents, chemical agents, and hazardous waste in compliance with SDS and CFS plans
  • Maintain highly organized, clean, and audit‑ready clean areas
What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years executing and managing industrial parts‑cleaning operations in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or precision‑machining environments
  • Proven team leadership/supervisory experience with a record of managing throughput and accountability on the shop floor
  • Deep knowledge of cleaning methodologies (solvent cleaning, aqueous degreasing, ultrasonic, acid/alkaline baths, precision manual wiping)
  • Experience handling metals of various shapes and finishes and understanding impacts on downstream assembly
  • Demonstrated experience setting up cleaning lines or work‑cells and implementing new manufacturing procedures
  • Functional understanding of ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle) for material tracking
Bonus Points For
  • Bachelor?s Degree
  • Strong technical training skills for non‑technical team members
  • Proficiency with MS Office or G‑Suite for procedural checklists
  • Experience operating material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack)
Must‑have Requirements / Physical Demands
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stoop, climb, type, stand, and sit for extended periods
  • Dedication to safety working around hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenics
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly range: $40 - $50/hour + equity + benefits. Actual compensation depends on level, location, qualifications, and experience.
