General Laborer

Temporary General Laborer needed for an indefinite temp assignment with a custom metal fabrication facility in Dalton, MA. This is a hands‑on role in a busy production and manufacturing environment supporting fabrication, composite lay‑up, material handling, and general shop operations.

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm

• Assisting with composite lay‑up and assembly work
• Preparing materials and tooling for production
• Supporting fabrication and manufacturing operations
• Grinding, sanding, deburring, and finishing materials
• Moving materials and parts throughout the shop
• Assisting machine operators and fabricators as needed
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following safety procedures and production instructions carefully
• Performing general labor and shop support duties as assigned

• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift
• Steel‑toed shoes required
• Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Reliable attendance and willingness to assist where needed
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen if selected
