CNC Machine Maintenance Mechanic

Direct Hire | Billerica, MA

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM (overtime available as needed)

Salary: $80,000-$105,000

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machining equipment
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs
• Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, ladder logic, and machine documentation
• Repair and service machine components including:
  • Ball screws
  • Bearings
  • Linear guides
  • Spindles
  • Servo systems
  • Turrets
  • Relays
  • Machine leveling systems
• Run CNC machines to verify repairs and machine performance
• Accurately document maintenance activities and completed repairs
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

• 5+ years of CNC maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and ladder logic
• Experience working with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
