Where You’ll Work Orion Castings is a North American leader in full-service aluminum, zinc, and magnesium die casting. Our Cambridge Division—founded in 1945 and spanning 300,000 square feet—has delivered contract manufacturing for more than 80 years. We build advanced aluminum die cast assemblies for aerospace, medical device, robotics, and defense customers. We build careers too—many teammates celebrate 20+ years with us.
What a Week Looks Like
Hours:
6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday Pay: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour
Your Core Responsibilities Follow verbal and written instructions; interpret assembly drawings and procedures.
Use a microscope for select, high-precision tasks.
Accurately complete manufacturing documentation and production records.
Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work environment.
Use hand and power tools; operate light-duty machines (drill press, saws, grinders).Understand and support product flow to keep production moving.
Work directly with engineers to develop assembly methods and resolve problems.
Assist with related tasks as assigned.
What You’ll Need to Succeed Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and pride in quality.
Teamwork mindset with professional, courteous communication.
Mechanical inclination and comfort with shop tools and fixtures.
Ability to use basic test equipment for simple functional tests (a plus).Familiarity with drill presses, saws, and grinders.
