- Do you enjoy building with your hands—using torque tools, crimpers, cutters, and wire strippers—to create reliable electronic assemblies?
- Can you read a BOM, traveler, drawing, or schematic and turn it into a clean, functional build?
- When you spot a defect or out-of-tolerance condition, do you document it and flag it for quality without hesitation?
- Assemble electronics and subassemblies with precision, following written work instructions.
- Prepare wires and cables; install connectors; route and dress wiring to workmanship standards.
- Conduct visual and functional checks throughout the build; finalize inspection and documentation.
- Operate multimeters, continuity testers, and power supplies; record readings accurately.
- Quarantine and report nonconforming materials and process issues to supervisors/quality.
- Keep travelers, lot traceability, and time/quantity entries complete and accurate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bench aligned with 5S/lean.
- Follow all ESD, safety, and company policies; assist with additional production tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience/education).
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing assembly; electronics preferred.
- Comfort with detailed written directions and standard procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude and skill with common hand tools.
- Ability to perform repetitive work with consistent attention to quality.
- Basic math and measurement (including rulers/calipers, as applicable).
- Team-minded yet self-directed in a fast-moving environment.
- Clear, professional communication; adherence to ESD, safety, and quality standards.
- IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD soldering familiarity.
- Through-hole/SMT soldering and rework/repair.
- Harness and cable assembly; precision crimping to manufacturer spec.
- Experience with ERP/MRP and electronic work instructions.
- Background in ISO 9001 or similar regulated environments.
- Forklift/pallet jack experience (where relevant).
- Production/manufacturing environment.
- Frequent standing/sitting; repetitive hand motions and fine motor tasks.
- Ability to lift/move 25-40 lbs.
- Visual clarity for small parts/markings (corrective lenses if needed).
- PPE and ESD controls required.
- Overtime may be required based on demand.
