We are seeking a skilled TIG (GTAW) Welder with a minimum of 2+ years of welding experience or equivalent technical welding training to join a manufacturing/fabrication team. This role is responsible for producing high-quality welds on precision components in accordance with engineering drawings and applicable industry standards. What You’ll Do:- Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on components in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Read and work from assembly drawings and specifications to ensure welds meet design requirements
- Apply knowledge of ASME standards to ensure welds meet applicable codes and quality requirements
- Perform orbital welding and operate welding lathes as needed
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
- Follow written work instructions and maintain accurate documentation of completed work
- Utilize basic computer skills to log production data and access work instructions
- Apply Lean manufacturing principles and SAP system knowledge to support efficient operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with facility safety standards
- Lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks associated with welding and fabrication work
- 2+ years of TIG (GTAW) welding experience or technical welding training required
- Experience welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to read and work from assembly drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of ASME standards; certification preferred or ability to obtain certification
- Experience with orbital welding and welding lathes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic computer skills and ability to follow work instructions
- Lean manufacturing and SAP experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
