As a Precision Swiss CNC Machinist, you will serve as a technical expert in the development and execution of complex machining processes for high-tolerance components. You will leverage your expertise in multi-axis Swiss-style turning to drive production efficiency and ensure the highest standards of quality for our precision manufacturing operations.

• Design, refine, and validate CNC programs for multi-axis Swiss-type lathes to optimize cycle times and part quality.
• Execute comprehensive machine setups, including tooling selection, work holding configuration, and precise offset adjustments.
• Validate first-piece production through rigorous metrology and inspection to ensure strict adherence to engineering specifications.
• Maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including setup sheets and process control records, to support revision-controlled workflows.
• Proactively troubleshoot technical challenges related to tooling, programming, or machine performance to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
• Ensure all production activities align with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including GD&T requirements.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience operating and programming Citizen or Star Swiss-type lathes.
• Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints and GD&T.
• Strong technical background in machining methods, cutting tool geometry, and feed/speed optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple production priorities.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency status as required by federal regulations.

• Formal training or certification in machining, vocational, or technical programs.
• Advanced proficiency with modern CAD/CAM software suites.
• Proven experience in a leadership or training capacity within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills for complex troubleshooting and process reliability improvements.
