Material Control Specialist- 1st Shift

Location: Harvard

Our client is looking for a Material Coordinator to join a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to life-saving medicines. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of materials, managing inventory systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory safety standards.

Required Skills,

Education and Experience:

4-6 years of experience handling hazardous materials and managing inventory in a pharmaceutical or chemical environment

Working knowledge of electronic material control systems and related software packages

Experience with domestic and international shipping, including DEA-controlled substances and hazardous waste management

High School Diploma or equivalent

As a key team member, you will handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials, monitor storage conditions, and oversee shipping and receiving operations, including international shipments and DEA-controlled substances. Your expertise in inventory management, regulatory compliance, and hazardous material handling will help keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

You will be working in a pharmaceutical or chemical industry setting, with daily tasks that include maintaining storage conditions, performing physical inventories, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and ensuring timely processing of shipments. Your knowledge of electronic material control systems, Microsoft Office, and experience with hazardous material handling are essential for success in this role.

Work Schedule:
