Overview
MPG has partnered with a non-profit client in Hadley, MA and is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist/Content Writer. The Product Marketing Specialist supports over 3,000+ customer base by developing and executing marketing campaigns for organizational products and services contracts. This role serves as a key support function, acting as the bridge between the Member Services Team and the Strategic Sourcing Team.

Your Goal? To provide exceptional support to the team by helping the organization meet its growth goals through your ability to deliver the right information to our membership and encourage greater utilization of our contract offerings.
These key responsibilities include:
- Product Positioning
:
Write compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences. Create marketing collateral, including product launch plans and promotional materials, to support brand and campaign initiatives - Campaign Management
:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on marketing strategies and to execute impactful campaigns that drive product awareness and engagement within organizational timelines. - Sales Enablement
:
Create/keep current sales enablement tools, such as presentations and member sales kits, to support the sales team in effectively communicating product benefits to members. - Story Telling
:
Work directly with the internal team to understand the value proposition and create the right collateral that tells the value proposition story that stay within the brand. Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs and preferences. - Performance Analysis
:
Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and improve overall business outcomes. Timely complete reports, measuring campaign impact. - Trade Shows/Events

Supporting the sales plan and promotion of events, conferences, trade shows and user meetings, including attendance with your colleagues - Website/social media

Update and maintain the company website with accurate, engaging content while creating, scheduling, and publishing social media posts to promote the business and increase audience engagement

Skills and Qualifications
- Education
:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field - Experience
: 3 – 5 years of experience in product marketing/content writing role is preferred. Must have experience in building and launching campaigns on a schedule and analyzing the results through data collection while staying consistent with the established brand guidelines. - Communication Skills
:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills that include the ability to actively listen to understand the story and then articulate it externally. Experience with writing promotional materials (web copy, newsletters, etc.) required. - Analytical Skills
