Social Media Marketing Internship – Build

Interested in marketing, branding, or growing a social media presence?

Join the Chappaquiddick Island Association and help lead our social media marketing efforts. This is a hands‑on opportunity to think like a marketer — creating content, testing ideas, and helping grow a real audience while building skills you can use for college, jobs, or your own ventures.

• Help plan and execute social media marketing for Instagram and Facebook
• Create content using tools like Canva (graphics, posts, simple campaigns)
• Take photos, write captions, and develop messaging
• Analyze what performs well and adjust strategy
• Help grow followers, engagement, and awareness
• Use tools like Meta Business Suite to manage accounts
• Ensure accounts are organized, secure, and free from spam or bots

• Real experience in social media marketing and strategy
• Hands‑on use of tools like Canva and Meta Business Suite
• Portfolio‑ready work for college or job applications

Time Commitment: Flexible schedule of approximately 3–5 hours per week, depending on projects and upcoming initiatives.

This is a volunteer, unpaid internship position. It is intended to be a collaborative learning experience, where the student helps the CIA build a stronger social media presence while gaining valuable real‑world experience.
