Position Summary:
The Graphic Designer & Media Specialist is responsible for the design and production of a wide range of creative assets, including:
Print and digital advertisements;
Brochures, newsletters, direct mail, and signage;
Social media graphics, email campaigns, and website content;
Video and animated content;
Presentations, event materials, and branded collateral. Beyond design, you'll collaborate with marketing teammates and departments across the Credit Union as well as external vendors to write and edit content, coordinate print and digital production, use data to inform advertisement placement decisions, and help maintain our website and digital marketing platforms.
Essential Functions:
- Design and produce marketing and communications materials for print and digital channels, including advertisements, brochures, newsletters, direct mail, signage, social media graphics, email campaign graphics, website content, presentations, and other branded collateral using current design software, including but not limited to:
Adobe Creative Suite and Acrobat Pro. - Work in conjunction with the Manager of Marketing to assist in Developing and editing of marketing content, including copywriting, proofreading, and editing, to support marketing initiatives and organizational communications, and coordinate production of marketing materials by collaborating with internal teams as well as external vendors.
- Maintain brand standards by ensuring consistent application of the Credit Union's visual identity, messaging, and style guidelines across all marketing materials and communication channels, and update as necessary to include new markets and visual themes.
- Produce fillable Credit Union forms and disclosures for members, such as: address change forms, IRA disclosures, fee schedules, privacy notices, etc. in coordination with subject matter experts from other departments.
- Coordinate all activities regarding online warehouse inventory management including reviewing inventory, reordering marketing materials, and other administrative duties, including monthly ordering of business cards.
- Coordinate all activities regarding digital lobby displays including design, coordination, scheduling and all administrative duties.
- Primary graphic content generator for our public website CMS, working in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Specialist for new landing page and blog content. Serve as creator of the digital version of eNewsletter for our three annual member updates. Responsible for supporting the maintenance of the web including content changes such as rates and fee schedules.
- Work with the Community Engagement Manager to customize pieces for different Sponsor Groups and community outreach efforts, including signage, financial literacy brochures, and prospecting pieces. Design creative and produce copies of materials for Wealth Management, Member Advantage Mortgage, and Commercial Services. This includes seminar/workshop signage, mailers, and general communications pieces.
- Provide support to other departments for communication, special events, or promotions, including signage and collateral materials, as well as for design and copywriting work, as directed by the Manager of Marketing. This includes presentation development, editing, and review.
- As needed, aid with any outside marketing agencies in developing special programs or promotions, including direction on corporate design guidelines, traffic, and conversions of creative to other formats.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Visual Arts, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
