Overview
An Account Director develops short- and long-term strategies to meet clients’ marketing and financial objectives. Manages fundraising programs for several non-profit clients, serving as the senior client contact. Collaborates internally with all departments to ensure effective execution of program and campaign strategies. Coordinate with staff responsible for executing fundraising programs.

Your Impact- Oversee direct marketing campaigns from strategy development through creative, data processing and production.
- Oversee other Account Management staff in the execution of tactical strategy.
- Identify upgrade opportunities; participate in sales process.
- Provide direction and final approval on campaign strategy and present the recommendations to the client.
- Evaluate/Identify when creative strategy should be modified to better meet client requirements.
- Review final layouts to ensure they meet both program objectives and client requirements.
- Consult on database and data management issues including troubleshooting and reporting/tool development.
- Participate in and/or direct budget development process, and re-projecting budgets.
- Identify campaign or financial issues that require further analysis; provide direction for analysis.
- Develop annual file audit, year-end review, budget and annual plan, and presentations.
- Key client contact for program planning, strategy and program evaluation.
- Manage team resources across multiple disciplines to ensure program objectives are met.
- Performs other duties as required.
- A Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years’ experience in direct response, fundraising, and nonprofits is required, preferably for an agency or a large national non-profit organization.
- Outstanding analytical abilities required
- Previous management experience required.
- Outstanding relationship-building and communication skills
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent understanding of database tools.
