About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Outpatient Surgery Center provides professional nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care in accordance with AORN regulations.
Highlights- Pay: $41.38 - $100.00/hour
- Location: Newton, MA
- Facility: Newton-Wellesley Hospital
- Schedule: Part-Time, Day shift
- Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
- Oversee assigned team members in delivering patient care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care.
- Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures (preferred).
- Assist in the development of patient care plans.
- Education: MA RN license required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required;
Orthopedic surgical experience required - Licenses &
Certifications:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required; AORN certification preferred;
Completion of a Peri-Operative Nursing Program preferred
