Schedule: 32 Hours (Days
- Mix of 8's and 12's), Every Other Weekend Rotation
The Cardiac Telemetry Units at Boston Medical Center - South play a vital role in delivering comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse patient population. These units serve as the backbone of the hospital's acute care services, managing cardiac patients with a wide range of medical and post-surgical needs. Nurses and interdisciplinary teams provide evidence-based, patient-centered care, focusing on recovery, stabilization, and discharge planning.
As a central component of the hospital's continuum of care, these units are instrumental in supporting patients through various stages of illness and recovery, ensuring safe transitions whether patients are moving to higher levels of care, rehabilitation, or returning home.
As an RN in the Cardiac Telemetry Department, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. Using our patient-centered care model you will be uplifted by a supportive nursing organization, and will be able to deliver the excellent care to your patients that they deserve.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Deliver nursing care in the Department, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
- Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
- Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
- Update and manage patient records
- Enter and interpret computerized data/information
- Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC's nursing organization
- Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
- Education:
Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred);
Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required. - License/
Certifications:
Current RN MA license + BLS required. ACLS preferred. - Experience:
Prior acute Med/Surg experience preferred

Compensation Range: $38.10- $77.63
