Nurse Supervisor – Encompass Health

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing care within our inpatient rehabilitation units. The role involves overseeing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with procedures, and providing direct patient care as needed.

• Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Act as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or units.
• Monitor and manage staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, performance counseling, and discipline.
• Assume patient care duties when required and build relationships with patients to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs.
• Celebrate patient victories throughout the recovery process.

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting within the last five years.
• Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity, responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and accountability for patient and staff results.
