Salary Range: $46.00–$63.00 per hour
Schedule2‑3 shifts per week, between 6 pm and 6 am, Monday through Friday. 40 hours of on‑call pay per week.
Position SummaryDaVita seeks a Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care in a hospital setting, delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care for individuals with end‑stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.
Requirements- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or 3‑year diploma from an accredited program.
- Dialysis RN experience preferred; experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med‑Surg is helpful.
- Certification in Nephrology or Dialysis (CNN or CDN) is a plus.
- Successful completion of a pre‑employment color‑blindness test; accommodations available.
- Full COVID‑19 vaccination required by hospitals in this program.
- Provide dialysis care to patients in various hospital settings (ICU, CCU, ED, etc.).
- Manage a group of patients with support from patient care technicians (PCTs).
- Perform patient observations, record vital statistics, and set up dialysis machines.
- Apply a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge to patients with multiple comorbidities.
- Deliver specialty nephrology care through Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and Apheresis.
- Work a dynamic schedule that includes regular shifts and on‑call duties; daily shifts may change based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; support and rely on team members for a positive environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to meet CMS standards.
