Job Overview
The Meadows Skilled Nursing is seeking 11 p.m. – 7 a.m. Registered Nurses to join our team. The Meadows of Central Massachusetts is an 82‑bed transitional care facility located alongside Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts – Central Campus. The facility provides comprehensive skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for patients recovering from serious injuries or illnesses. We specialize in short‑term rehabilitation, long‑term care, and respite care.
Shift: 11 p.m. – 7 a.m. 8‑hour shifts.
Responsibilities- Responsible for comprehensive assessment of resident and family needs to determine required nursing services.
- Understand and integrate the needs of adult and geriatric residents in delivery of nursing care.
- Provide direct care, delegate and supervise all nursing care.
- Demonstrate clinical competence, manage resident care, improve quality, establish professional relationships, and fulfill facility responsibilities.
- Provide direct care and manage resident activities during shift.
- Serve as liaison to keep Program Manager and/or Nursing Supervisor informed of major occurrences and program needs.
- Current, valid, and active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor.
- One (1) year of medical/surgical, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
