Job Description The Quabbin Regional School District is seeking a full-time School Nurse to support the health, wellness, and learning needs of members of the school community. Must be a graduate of an accredited licensed program with licensure from the State of Massachusetts. Three-five years of related nursing experience.Duties include:
providing for the daily nursing care of students according to student specific health care plans. Able to follow all guidelines, regulations and accountability reporting to DESE.

The Quabbin Regional School District serves five central Massachusetts communities:
Barre, Hardwick, Hubbardston, New Braintree, and Oakham. The district was formed as a regional district servicing grades 7-12 in 1965. It was later expanded by vote of all five towns to take jurisdiction of all school age children in grades K-12 effective July 1, 1985., The Quabbin Regional School District serves five central Massachusetts communities:

Job Requirements- 1. Current, valid license to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
2. Must hold a Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education certification as a School Nurse (All levels) or be able to obtain within first year of employment..
3. Must have solid experience and a wide background in adult/child illness and injury, universal precautions, community health, broad medical - surgical base, excellent assessment skills and emergency decision-making experience or other relevant clinical nursing experience.
4. Completion of a BSN from an accredited institution.
5. Must hold a current first aid, AED and CPR certification from a recognized provider.
Benefits and salary in accordance with the QRTA collective bargaining agreement. Starting range $62,402.58 - At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
