Associate Veterinarian, Mixed Animal and Integrative Medicine (Full Time)

A mission driven veterinary practice in Dalton, Pennsylvania is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative, values based medical team. This full time opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who is committed to high quality medicine, ethical care, and long term professional sustainability.

The practice is focused on expanding access to veterinary care while fostering an environment where clinicians are supported, respected, and empowered to practice medicine aligned with their values rather than production driven expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment plans
  • Deliver medical and surgical care using fear free and trauma informed techniques
  • Prescribe medications and develop ethical, patient focused care plans
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with animal caregivers
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  • Participate in community centered veterinary care initiative

Veterinarians may focus on companion animals exclusively or work within a mixed animal caseload that may include farmed animals and equine patients.

Veterinarians with an interest in integrative or holistic medicine are supported in incorporating approaches such as acupuncture, nutrition and wellness planning, laser therapy, and mobility or pain management.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree
  • Active Pennsylvania veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Commitment to compassionate, ethical veterinary care
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and a growth oriented mindset
