Pay range: $17.98 - $20.68 (PT-3)

Location:

The town of Cohasset is seeking program counselors for its summer recreation program. This position reports to the summer program director and the recreation director.

• Program Counselors:
  Counselors for the full-day programs must be at least 17. Previous experience working with children is highly recommended.
• All applicants must hold a current CPR certification. CPR classes will be provided to staff at no cost.

The primary responsibility of all the staff is to supervise and lead children aged 9-12 through the Xtreme program. Additional duties include supporting the Director and Coordinators, participating in training sessions, maintaining records such as weekly attendance and accident reports, and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and grounds. Staff will also enforce Recreation Department rules and policies related to the program and deliver exceptional customer service to both patrons and fellow staff members.

• Monday, June 29th through Thursday, August 13
• Seven one-week programs – Monday - Thursday
• Orientation Mandatory – week of June 22nd
